Our dogs and puppies are farm-bred-and-raised. We breed for health, even temperament, conformation, and performance. Jack Russells are named after Rev. Jack Russell who was both a preacher and an avid fox hunter in 1800s England. Today, the Jack Russell Terrier is divided into two distinct breeds in the United States:
AKC Russell Terrier, otherwise know as the English Jack Russell Terrier, a short legged, longer bodied dog bred for fox hunting
AKC Parson Russell Terrier, a long legged, shorter bodied dog bred for fox hunting
We breed short legged, longer bodied AKC Russell Terriers/English Jack Russell Terriers. Our dogs are dual registered with the AKC and the English Jack Russell Association of America. Our puppies are bred for beautiful markings, smooth, rough, and broken coats, and they are expected to grow 8-10.5” inches tall and weigh about 12-15 pounds at maturity. All our dogs are genetically health tested and are confirmed CLEAR by DNA for PLL and SCA.

Caring for your new puppy:
Puppies eat Purina ProPlan Chicken & Rice dry dog food
Puppies sleep on cots, on blankets, in straw, and in dog beds
Puppies are raised in our house until five weeks old then move to a straw covered stall in the barn to play all day for muscular skeletal development
Puppies will not have started house breaking or crate training yet
Housebreaking & Crate Training: Veterinarian recommendation is 8-12 weeks for puppies to begin housebreaking. Our puppies are raised in our house until six weeks old then they move to our barn to play and learn for their remaining time with us, therefore, we do not begin housebreaking training. The recommended age to start crate training a puppy is around eight weeks old, which is when you first bring them home. Starting early helps your puppy feel comfortable and settled in your home, and it can also help with toilet training.
